Well, you already know I'll be in the San Francisco area anyway, and I can take off work for the MySQL conference for "training purposes", so I'll definitely go if there's still a pass available :) 

I would invite people to stay at my place, but I'll most likely only have a tiny 1 bedroom condo =P

Hey all,

For those of you that don't know, we've been asked to have a table on  
the show floor of the 2008 MySQL Conference and Expo.  I've been  
thinking about doing shows like this anyway, so I quickly accepted it  
without really planning out how it was going to go down.  It's April  
14-17 (show floor is on the 15th and 16th) in the San Francisco area.

I'm definitely going and I have maybe's from a couple of people and  
no's from a couple of people.  Is anyone interested in going?  We have
  
4 passes and I'd like to have 4 people there if possible.  If it's an  
issue of money, I might be able to help out with that, depending on  
our budget.  I think it'll be good exposure for us, so I feel it would
  
be worth putting some money out in order to make it a success.

I'm probably going to book my travel this week, most likely flying  
there on Sunday and heading home on Thursday or Friday.  I intend to  
rent a car big enough to hold 4 people and stay a little bit away from
  
the convention center to keep the hotel cost down.  We will have a  
decent amount of downtime, so I'm sure we can head into the city and  
see the sights or do whatever.

Let me know if you're interested and we'll try and work it out as best
  
as possible.
